OUR IMPORTANT PROBLEM

May Allah bless us all with perseverance at Deen! Umm-ul-Mu'mineen Hazrat Umm-e-Salma  was asked, "Which supplication would the Holy Prophet  pray the maximum when he used to be with you?" Hazrat Umm-e-Salma  said, "The Holy Prophet  would often pray thus

"O That Who changes the hearts, keep my heart firm to Your Deen."

O, yes, perseverance at Belief is a very great blessing and it is our dire need. The Satan attacks man's heart directly. The heart itself is also a very strange thing. It takes big somersaults in minutes. It loves someone but the next instant it abominates him. Sometimes, it is so brave that it gets ready to jump from the high skies but sometimes it is so cowardly that it begins to palpitate at a slight sound. Sometimes so great courage that it has passion to conquer the world and sometimes so great disheartedness that it begins to plan of committing suicide. The heart is a very strange thing and it is very difficult to control it. There is only one method. It is to hand over the heart to its Owner. Then it works correctly and is filled with a Light which always remains with him.

Let us ponder over the following verse a little:

"Is it (conceivable) that the one who was dead and to whom we gave life, and set for him a light with which he walks among men, (is held to) be like the one whose condition is such that he is in total darkness; never coming out of it? This is how their deeds appear beautified to the disbelievers."

Now, a few points have become clear:

i. The heart of some person is alive whereas some other's dead. Man's heart is dead due to heathenism, deviation and some big sins.

ii. The life of the heart is from Allah. Allah instils the spirit of Belief and His Recognition in the heart of the man whom He wills to give life.

iii. The man, whose heart is alive, is blessed with a light. In the resplendence of that light, he perceives the Right Path and escapes the darknesses of deviation. Moreover, the more the Belief and Recognition a man's heart has, his light increases the more. Allah blesses some people with the light that they become a source of bringing out numerous people from darkness and leading them to the Right Path.

iv. The Pagans remain wandering in horrible darknesses. However much light, glamour and beauty they gather around them, their hearts are dead and their ways are blind.

v. The Satan beautifies the darknesses and mistakes before the Pagans. They think that they are right, wise, advanced, civilized and safe. The rest of the world should also follow them.

Let us peep into our hearts and try to explore the "resplendence" in them; the light about which we have recently studied in the true words of our Lord. Actually, there are Satans and their comrades all around us. All of them want to snatch away "life" from us i.e. Guidance and Deen. Allah Almighty says:

"The Satans inspire their friends to dispute with you. If you were to obey them, you would be the Polytheists."

You have observed the rulers how they dispute and compel us to obey the Pagans. You have observed the westernized journalists how they stress the nation to worship infidelity. They say, "Consider the Pagans advanced. Consider the Pagans civilized. Follow the laws and systems of the Pagans. Accept the domination of the Pagans. See, how much wealth they have. They have such and such machine and technology. Even their dogs lead better lives than us etc." They utter nonsense and talk of their riches whereas the Holy Quran tells us that they are dead. They are being disgraced in darknesses. Even a dog also fulfils his heart's desire. Whether Barak Obama or Bill Gyttes, all of them are unsuccessful and dead. If they die in infidelity, even the beasts will seek refuge against their end. This Manmohn Singh, this Advani, this Chadambaram all are unsuccessful, disgraced, deprived, unlucky and wretched. Only that among them will be successful who embraces Islam.

Allah has placed big treasures under the earth. It is written in books and some people hold the experience that big snakes patrol and guard many big treasures. In other words, that snake is the possessor of that treasure and does not let anyone come near it. Now, if a column writer writes a column in honour of that snake that he is the sole possessor of the wealth equal to so many trillion dollars, what is the difference between the present day capitalists and that snake? The world is dying of hunger but they have locked their treasures just to waste that wealth in useless luxuries and inventions. Just believe that billions of dollars have been spent till now only to make hair grown on the heads of the bald. Can man not remain alive without hair? Are only the hair the standard of man's beauty? Allah be thanked, some bald people look so beautiful beyond description. But now wealth is in the hands of the mad people. They themselves are in darkness and are wasting wealth in useless things and leading the people to useless things. On the other hand, if man scratches out the anxiety of hair from his heart, there occurs great blessings in life. There are very easy dictates in Sharia about hair. Let beard shine on the face, cut the moustaches half or full, remove the hair from under the armpit and the under the navel and if there is hair on the head, do not be similar to the Pagans. Set your hair through oil, comb and cleanliness. How short and beautiful is the syllabus? If a man acts upon it, how much of his time can be saved? So much time is spent in shaving the beard still no man can be beautiful like a woman. The hair in the beard show out after a day or two. In the same way, the tension of keeping the hair bright also wastes man's time and grace. Time is wasted in dyeing the hair and grace is shocked when man cannot dye the hair all the time due to some legal excuse. Then, the snapshot of a Chinese hen appears on he face. Instead of it, you should use the coloured Hinna. If you cannot use it sometimes out of some excuse, the face will be like the embroidered Yemenian red and white shawl.

O ladies and gentleman, O Allah's slaves, we should give up the anxiety of the appearance and attend to the heart that it may turn alive in any way, be filled with resplendence and be firm to Deen till death. If this blessing is granted, you shall change seventy thousand dresses daily in the Paradise and shall carry with you ever new kind of beauty. If our hearts turn alive, we will be blessed with the enjoyment of Allah's recognition; the enjoyment that no enjoyment of the world can beat it. If resplendence is created in our hearts ,we shall be able to take ourselves out of darkness and many other people will get guidance from our light. If the resplendence of Belief lights in our hearts, we will come to know the reality of the world. Then we shall be able to escape from its deception. If our hearts gain the light of Guidance, the awe of the Pagans and fear of death will be removed from our hearts and the high flight and destination will be granted to us. These cowardly people who call themselves the Super Power of the world are not worthy to be afraid of. The breaths of life and apparent peace of the world are not the things that Belief may be sacrificed to them. There can neither be any addition to life nor the trials decreed be averted. People die in the collision of trucks and buses also. Shall we recognize them Super Powers and begin to workship them. People die by drowning in water. Shall we take water everything? Those who kill others with drone plans are themselves also dying. Then what is the matter that we forsake Allah and accept the slavery of America, India and Europe? All these people are gripped by torment. Deprivation of Belief is a very great torment. Those are the wretched unfortunate people. Deprivation of the slavery of Hazrat Muhamamd  is a great bad luck. O Muslims, offer thanks to Allah's bounties and value the Deen Islam. See, how our lord Hazrat Muhammad  is praying for perseverance to Deen:  whereas his heart was always immune to every danger. No heart so Mu'min and enlightened has been made for anyone else. Still he is praying. So think for a while, how great needy we are. We do not know with how great filth our hearts remain filled i.e. hypocrisy, cowardice, stinginess and wickednesses. Our Madani Lord  prayed thus for our education and training so that we might be blessed with the tension of Belief and correction of the heart and prefer this tension to every other that our hearts might be blessed with Belief. Then perseverance to Belief may also be granted to us.

O yes, this is the matter of everlasting immortal success and failure. If we die in a state of Belief, there will be permanent success, otherwise!!!........... O Allah, be kind to us and protect us!
